Eric's News
August, 2022:
- Eric's Railroad Car History was created over 20 years ago. The commercial aspect of the site ended over a decade ago, but I kept the site active when I saw people were still accessing many of my files.
- After my wife died rather suddenly, I moved from the Northeast to rural Central Texas. I think she would have liked it here as much as I do.
- I soon developed an interest in arthropods, especially Texas wolf spiders. Although railcar research continues unabated, I'm uploading some wolf spider related files as well. Links are provided in my journal at iNaturalist under user name "eaneubauer". Ultimately, I will add a linkable index page here.
- Since my website doesn't ask for personal information, and the .htm, .rtf, and .pdf file types that make it up aren't potentially dangerous, I see no need to change from an http to an https website. As a result, your browser may come up with a security warning when you try to access it. In addition, web browsers may fail to recognize the site at all. You may need an actual addess beginning with http://eaneubauer.ipower.com/ followed by the remainder of the path and file name. In the case of this page, that would be ericsindex.htm. Welcome to the everchanging internet world where operating systems and browsers think it's their duty to tell you where to go. It's my duty to tell them where to go.
