As a group, we believe we provide the most extensive coverage of railroad car history. The other sites belong to Dave Casdorph and Darrell Sawyer. January, 2010:

The General American Airslide and Other Covered Hopper Cars published back in the 1980s has been pushed back. However, Early Pullman Freight and Passenger Car Production should be out later this month. It will cover orders placed through the end of 1911. Visit: Eric's Books.
The January, 2010 installment of Eric's Car of the Month features DSRC 489399, spotlighting the Southeastern Speciaties variant of a 4,750 cubic foot covered hopper design also produced by Berwick, Ingalls, and Richmond. Visit: Eric's Car of the Month.
